As a post-doc, I helped teach Human Anatomy and Physiology to undergraduate nursing students at SUNY StonyBrook, and developed a lab manual for the course. In the 1980s through the early 1990s, I spent winters teaching Anatomy and Physiology, an Introduction to Oceanography, SCUBA, and Red Cross First Aid, Lifesaving, and CPR courses at Maui Community College, and summers teaching a course in marine vertebrates for the Shoals Marine Laboratory.
