Essentials of Anatomy and Physiology is intended for one-semester courses. It is used in high schools and at the undergraduate college level for students in general studies or biology programs, sometimes as an overview for pre-med students, and for allied health programs for lab techs, nurses assistants, and so forth.

A very popular textbook that has been translated into more languages than any of my other texts. Now in its 7th edition, Essentials is coauthored with Ed Bartholomew.
